Pinpointing the extraordinary in the routine; getting lost in the complexities of the many things we take for granted. Finding the common ground that connects us all.
Late Summer Tablescape
With more summer days in mind, we thought we’d share with you a few simple styling tips to have your next meal outdoors and make it special. Hint: It is easier when you go for something seasonal! We’re calling this gathering for two rustic blues and you’ll see why shortly.
Hive
Amidst live guitar, chatter, and laughter the evening came to a close. Although this Supper definitely came with some logistical challenges, the perfect views from Tularcitos Ridge and the feeling of seclusion were definitely worth it. We loved every moment of our return to California; we will never tire of reveling in its bounty and admiring its beauty!
Patina
Santa Fe was the fourth stop on the Secret Supper-Roca Patrón Series, and it was beyond memorable! Halfway through the series, we set foot on one of the most magical landscapes we could have ever imagined. A stark contrast from our neck of the woods and the perfect backdrop to a fantastic evening.
Savory
In early October we brought our table to a wild, golden field at West Bijou ranch, just outside of Denver. Taking our guests to the Savory Institute’s holistically-managed ranch and learning site was an amazing experience, and an incredible way to celebrate our partnership with them as the non-profit benefitted through the Secret Supper-Roca Patrón Series.
Fresco
The Motor City welcomed us with open arms, and we had the most incredible time creating a unique experience for fifty guests who joined us from near and far. An experience that celebrated community and craftsmanship at Woods Cathedral, a building that after seeing some rough times, was filled with joy and laughter through the memories shared at the table.
Table Culture: The Lemines
Last summer, Meghan reached out to us to learn more about our Table Culture project. A few weeks later, we were spending some time with her, her husband Matt, and their adorable dog, Ausley. The three of them live in a beautiful, light filled studio in NE Portland, just above one of our favorite coffee shops in town!
Harbour
We spent the whole summer daydreaming and planning until finally, in early September, we boarded a plane to the East Coast for our very first Supper in Maine. Our team of four landed on the other side of the country, full of excitement to press start on a Series that’d been months in the making!
Table Culture: The Browns
Stacy and her husband Aaron fell for Alaska a while ago. They settled in Anchorage, where they built their dream home a few years back. The Browns are a family of eight, only their three youngest—E, E, and C, still get to enjoy home in the Last Frontier, as the oldest kids have departed to pursue degrees and careers elsewhere in the country.
