Join us on an immersive multi-day culinary adventure designed to be a holiday like you’ve never experienced before in Italy's renowed Food Valley, Emilia-Romagna. Together our group of 12 Culinary Pursuit travelers we will spend three and a half days connecting with the artisans, chefs, producers, and the natural beauty of this magical part of Italy.
EMILIA-ROMAGNA is home to some of the world’s most revered culinary specialties: Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, Parma ham, traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena and Reggio Emilia, Culatello salami, and of course, tagliatelle and tortellini pasta. Its rolling hills also embrace stunning vineyards and olive groves, while charming medieval villages and vibrant marketplaces add a touch of timeless charm.
Staying true to our signature experiences and our sense of adventure, we will keep much of the details of this trip a surprise until we see you in Emilia-Romagna! We do know you need to plan though, so read on to learn more and get excited to join us!

Location
Your dreamy temporary home for while on this adventure, is 25 minutes away from Emilia or a one hour drive from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport. We suggest taking a train to Emilia and we will pick you up there.

Roncolo 1888 - Situated in the heart of Emilia, the land of slow food and fast cars, the Wine & Balsamic Relais Roncolo 1888 is a century-old borgo surrounded by 130 hectares of organic land. For many years the private residence of noble families and the result of an attentive restoration carefully preserving the heritage of the past. Set in the stunning Emilian countryside, the property is a luxurious dream surrounded by impeccable grounds and unmatched hospitality.
We will be staying in Roncolo’s stunning Superior Rooms. Suite upgrades upon request and subject to availability. Please reach out upon securing your spot and we will work with you directly!

We will embark on a mouthwatering journey through the gastronomic wonders of Emilia-Romagna with our carefully crafted culinary itinerary. Vibrant markets, hands on learning and tastings are all part of this once in a lifetime experience. This culinary escapade promises a perfect blend of hands-on experiences, cultural immersion, and luxurious accommodations, ensuring an unforgettable taste of Emilia Romagna's culinary excellence. Think of it like an extended version of our Suppers, one that includes more exploration, adventure, and time to bond with new friends!
We have a delightful itinerary planned in partnership with our local host. Through intimate visits with local creators, unique gatherings and epic meals, you’ll uncover the gastronomic and cultural intricacies of our incredible surroundings. To give you an idea of what we’ll get up to while in Emilia Romagna, our itinerary includes visits to the following, among other activities:

From $4,700 per person, double occupancy or $5,700 for single occupancy
Your ticket includes:
4-night stay in a Superior Room at Roncolo 1888
Daily breakfast, lunch, dinner and tasting with alcoholic beverages

Private transportation to and from all activities
Private transportation to/from Emilia train station and Roncolo 1888 at the start/end of the trip

Meals will be a mix of aperitif style, authentic + local, and fine dining. We find a mix as such really helps find the true authentic way to experience the region.

If you follow a vegetarian or pescatarian diet, and/or you do not drink alcohol, you will be able to share that with us at checkout so we are aware and can provide you with a better experience.
Due to the nature of this experience, we can’t accommodate vegan or gluten-free diets. If you have a food allergy, please contact us prior to purchase.

Our group will be accompanied at all times by an English speaking local guide.

At least 60 days prior to departure, check with your doctor or healthcare provider for the latest updates and entry requirements, or visit the Center for Disease Control and Prevention website at cdc.gov.
If you have medication that you take daily, be sure you have enough for each day of the tour as well as any possible delays encountered.
We highly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance before traveling.

All guests must be 21+ to attend.
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of service animals.

Secret Supper incurs substantial non-recoverable costs and expenses in planning, preparing, and pre-paying amounts for tours and accommodations from the time of client enrollment as a result a non-refundable 50% reservation fee is due upon purchase in order to secure your spot on the tour. The remaining 50% balance payment is refundable up six months prior to the tour start date.
We highly encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance before traveling.

You are eligible to transfer your tickets to friends or family up to a week prior to the experience. Please inform us as soon as changes arise.

Just like our Suppers, this experience will be held rain or shine! If due to circumstances beyond our control it becomes impossible to host and carry on our itinerary, we reserve the right to cancel this experience. In such instance, and only per Secret Supper’s imminent cancellation of the trip, guests will be granted a refund of any amounts paid to Secret Supper at the time of cancellation.

Secret Supper and its partners reserve the right to use any photograph/video taken during the experiences without the expressed written permission of those included within the photograph/video. Secret Supper and its partners may use the photograph/video in publications or other digital or print media material, as they see fit.
